Laura Ingalls Designs is a small artisan business and we have developed policies to ensure success for both our customers and us. Please take a moment to read these policies as there will be a section below for you to acknowledge that you have read them.
Minimum Order – The minimum order is $500. By carrying a selection of LID items, it will keep your display fresh and help your customers see how to layer and mix “n match items.
Payment – All major credit cards accepted. Once your order is ready to ship, you will receive an email request to pay the shipping fees. Orders will not be shipped until payment has been received.
Established accounts that pay by check can contact Laura Ingalls Designs directly to place their order.
Time to Fill – Allow up to 4 - 6 weeks for an order to be made and shipped. Orders can at times be processed quicker and often they are. We are a small studio and everything is made to order as we do not carry an inventory of finished products.
Shipping – All jewelry and hatband orders ship via USPS Priority Mail Insured. Hats ship via FedEx Ground. Combination orders ship via FedEx Ground unless the jewelry exceeds a value $1,000. Then the jewelry will ship separately via USPS Priority Mail Insured. A tracking number will be sent to you via email. If you do not receive one, check your junk/spam box first.
$10 Estimated Shipping Charge will be billed at checkout, Full shipping cost will be billed when items are ready to ship based on final weight and dimensions. A separate invoice will be sent and payment needs to be made before items ship out.
Returns – On a very rare occasion, you may receive an item that didn’t quite look like the picture. Since refunds are not available on wholesale orders, you may exchange it for another item within 10 days of receipt. Depending on the item, a 20% restocking fee may be applied. Please contact Laura Ingalls Designs for a return authorization number. LID is not responsible for return shipping fees.
Items will be inspected to ensure they are in the same condition when shipped prior to an exchange being authorized. If there is a balance due for the new item being exchanged, you will receive a request for payment. If the exchange item is less than the item being returned, a credit on file will be issued. Shipping fees for the new items will apply.
Trunk Shows – Another way to boost your business is through Trunk Shows. LID offers two options. If you would like more information, contact us directly.
Drop Ship – This concept seems to be gaining in popularity with Internet stores. Although we prefer not to do this, we do offer a program that requires a $5,000 annual investment. If you would like more information, contact us directly.
