Shipping & Returns

Here at Laura Ingalls Designs, we take pride in the quality of craftsmanship of our work. We want everyone to be a satisfied customer and enjoy wearing our jewelry, hats and hatbands. On occasion there may be a need to return an item or send it in for a repair. Please take a moment to review our policies and call us if you have any questions.


Handling Time
  • Many of the jewelry pieces on the website are in stock and available to ship. Please allow 3 – 5 business days for your order to be packed and shipped.
  • All Concho bracelets, hitched webbing bracelets, hats and hatbands are made to order. These orders are made in the order in which they are received. It can take 3 – 4 weeks for the item to be made.

Shipping
  • All jewelry and hatbands ship via USPS Priority Mail Insured. You will receive an email with the tracking number from USPS. You may need to check your spam/junk box.
  • All hats ship via FedEx Ground. You will receive an email with the tracking number from FedEx.
  • Shipping to the non-contiguous United States – Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa will ship via USPS Priority Mail Insured. Shipping costs will be calculated when you check out.
  • International shipping – at this time LID does not ship internationally. But that could change in the future.
  • We are not responsible for loss or damage once the package is in the possession of USPS or FedEx. Nor are we responsible for delayed deliveries. All carriers can be quite overwhelmed at certain times of the year. Best to place your order early and be patient with the carriers. They are doing their best.
  • Prior to submitting your order, please review your shipping address. LID is not liable for information that is entered incorrectly. If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect delivery address there will be an additional shipping charge to reship the item.

Returns
  • On occasion a jewelry item or hatband may not meet expectations. The item may be returned for a complete refund (original price paid and associated tax, less shipping costs) to the original form of payment within 10 days of receipt.
  • The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and insurance.
  • Gift recipients, who return an item and do not want an exchange, will receive a merchandise credit.
  • All returned jewelry must be in "as delivered", "new" condition. The item will be inspected to make sure it is unworn, unused and in its original condition.
  • LID reserves the right to refuse returns on a case by case basis.
  • You must inform Laura Ingalls Designs within 24 hours of receipt of your jewelry should it be damaged in any way.
  • If possible, it is best to inspect the item while in the presence of the delivery person for insurance reasons. If the item is damaged, do not accept the delivery.
  • We do not accept returns due to customer sizing errors. Refer to the bracelet size guide on how to measure your wrist.
  • Custom items are a final sale and are not returnable.
  • Hats are a final sale and are not returnable. Therefore, measure your head correctly. Refer to the hat size guide on how to measure.
  • All sale and discounted items are a final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

How To Return An Item
  • Please contact Laura at ⦁ laura@lauraingalldesigns.com or 262-949-1330 within 10 days of receipt of the item.
  • Include the original receipt your full Name, Address, Phone Number, email address and reason for the return.
  • Jewelry must be shipped securely packaged, insured for the original purchase price and shipped prepaid.
  • All returns will be carefully inspected to make certain it is not damaged and that it is in its original condition.
  • We recommend shipping via insured USPS Priority Mail, insured FedEx or insured UPS for tracking purposes.
  • We do not take any responsibility for reimbursement or compensation in the event that any returned jewelry is lost, stolen, damaged or mishandled in any way. Please note that we will not accept any packages delivered C.O.D.
  • Upon receipt of your returned jewelry, we will send you an email regarding the status of your return. We will process your return request within two days following receipt of returned jewelry in the original form of payment or a merchandise credit. If the item is being exchanged for another item, a new order will be created.
